Faculty

The Faculty of Earth Sciences of the University of Barcelona is the most renowned centre of higher education in Spain in its disciplinary area and a leading research centre in most fields of the geological sciences and marine geosciences, geological engineering and environmental engineering.

Each academic year the Faculty welcomes new bachelor's and master's degree students interesing in acquiring a theoretical and practical grasp of the core aspects of these fields and their applications. It also attracts researchers and professionals who would like to broaden their understanding of advanced aspects of this branch of science.
