The Department of Geography publishes the Revista de Geografia between 1967 and 1998 (vol. 1 to 33), and between 2002 and 2008 (2nd period, nums. 1 to 5), and the journal Notes of Physical Geography between 1979 and 1996 (numbers 1 to 25).

Currently, several professors from the Department of Geography participate in the edition of the journals grouped on the portal Geocrítica. The magazine Geo crítica. Cuadernos críticos de Geografia Humana published one hundred issues between 1974 and 1994 on the initiative of Prof. Horacio Capel. Digital magazines have been published since 1996 Biblio3W. Revista Bibliográfica de Geografía y Ciencias Sociales, Scripta Nova. Revista Electrónica de Geografía y Ciencias Sociales, i Ar@cne. Revista de recursos en Internet sobre Geografía y Ciencias Sociales. He also publishes GeocritiQ, platform for the dissemination of scientific works, Scripta Vetera, collection of articles, reports and books, and various collections of e-books.
