Two Ramón-y-Cajal researchers of the department got funding to consolidate their stabilization at UB and to carry out 2-year research projects: Dr. Oriol Arteaga, from "Òptica i Fotònica", with SPECTROPEM - Ultrasensitive polarization encoded spectroscopy without monochromator based on photoelastic modulators; and Dr. Javier García-Serrano, from "Meteorologia", with DYNCAST - Low-resolution global climate modelling: dynamics and forecasting.
