The International Call is now open for two Assistant Professor positions within the Serra Hunter Program
Two Assistant Professor positions available: one in Macroeconomics and another in Applied Economics. The contract is expected to start around the summer of 2024. Check details for the application process.

The department of Economics offers two positions of Assistant Professor (lecturer tenure-eligible) within the Serra Hunter Program.
The position UB-LE-231-009 is on Macroeconomics and the position UB-LE-231-008 is on Applied Economics.
The international call is now open at https://serrahunter.gencat.cat/en/informacio_per_als_candidats/presentacio-de-candidatures/index.html .
The application process has two phases:
- The international call, open from March 6th until March 30th, 2023, consists of applying for the AQU Catalunya accreditation of “tenure-eligible lecturer”. For information about the criteria to get this accreditation: https://www.aqu.cat/en/teaching-staff/Assessment-of-the-teaching-staff/Report-for-tenure-track-lecturer/Criteria. At least two publications are necessary to obtain a positive evaluation.
- The UB call is expected to be in October 2023. There is an international committee to select the candidate. The contract is expected to start around the summer of 2024.
