Ecological Agriculture

The Master's in Ecological Agriculture forms professionals capable of developing models of agriculture and livestock that preserve the natural environment and favour rural development and public health.

Directed and coordinated by F. Xavier Sans, Professor of the Botany and Mycology Section, and with the participation of other teaching staff from the Department.

Study and conservation of African mammals

Postgraduate course that gives a practical overview of the diversity, conservation and tracking techniques of African meso and mega-mammals. That is why it includes a stay in centers of Africa dedicated to the research and conservation of the fauna. The necessary tools are provided to carry out censuses, collect field data and apply statistical techniques to solve issues related to the conservation of biodiversity.

The course is led by José Domingo Rodríguez Teijeiro, Professor of the Unit of Zoology and Biological Anthropology.
