Teaching

We participate in the teaching that is taught in the Faculty of Biology, but also in the Faculty of Earth Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Geography and History.

We have a central role in the degrees of Biology, Environmental Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology and Marine Sciences. We also participate in the degrees of Biochemistry, Geology, Archeology and Dentistry, contributing what is proper to our disciplines.

From the Department, we coordinate the master's degrees in Environmental Agrobiology, Biological Anthropology, Oceanography and Marine Environmental Management, Biodiversity and Ecology, management and restoration of the natural environment. We also have an outstanding role in the Masters of Biomedicine and Neurosciences.

We participate in three doctoral programs: Biodiversity, Marine Sciences and Ecology, Environmental Sciences and Vegetal Physiology, being the two first ones in collaboration with other universities.

We promote teaching innovation projects pioneer in Catalonia, making studies closer to the work scope.
