The University of Barcelona has awarded Dr. Achotegui with the "IMPULSO" Award for having carried out 28 consecutive editions of the Postgraduate Course on migration and mental health, through which more than 1,000 students from all over the world (with a special presence among foreign students  rom Latin America and the United States and Asians) the students have been trained on migratory stress and grief, Ulysses Syndrome, the Kayak Test, intervention techniques, etc., within the framework of a broad training syllabus.
