The Spanish Society of Criminological Research (SEIC) awards with the “Rafael Salillas” National Criminology Award biannually, within the framework of its biannual congress, which in 2024 has organized the University of Extremadura and has been held in the city of Cáceres. In this edition, the National Criminology Award has been to Professor Antonio Andrés Pueyo, Professor of Psychology at the University of Barcelona, due to his innovative contributions and notable social impact in criminal psychology and criminology, particularly in the fields of evaluation and prediction of the risk of violence. Our most sincere congratulations to Dr. Antonio Andrés, whose merits and recognition are also proud of the Faculty of Psychology and the University of Barcelona.
