• Identificació i caracterització d'interaccions proteïna-proteïna en relació amb la fisiopatologia de les malalties neurodegeneratives, principalment de Parkinson i Alzheimer.
• Identificació i caracterització d'interaccions proteïna-proteïna en relació amb la fisiopatologia d'altres malalties neurològiques (hiperactivitat, esquizofrènia i drogoaddicció).
• Identificació de noves dianes terapèutiques i disseny de noves estratègies terapèutiques per a malalties neurològiques (Parkinson, Alzheimer, Huntington, hiperactivitat, esquizofrènia, drogoaddicció…).
• Identificació de dianes terapèutiques per aconseguir que la microglia activada adquireixi un fenotip neuroprotector
• Cerca de biomarcadors de diagnosi i seguiment de malalties neurodegeneratives
