Doctoral studies
The doctoral qualification is the highest level of academic attainment recognized by the University and requires the completion of a doctoral programme and the successful defence of a doctoral thesis.
The Doctoral School of the University of Barcelona (EDUB) is the new organizational structure responsible for the planning and implementation of doctoral training, in line with the University's general academic strategy. It oversees the management of all doctoral programmes offered at the UB.
