The accreditation process of 3 Bachelor and 5 Master degrees coordinated by the Faculty of Chemistry has ended with highly positive results.

Regarding undergraduate education, we would like to emphasize that the Degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering have been recognized by AQU Catalunya with the EXCELLENT accreditation seal whereas the Degree in Materials Engineering has passed the accreditation process with the FAVORABLE stamp.

With respect to the Master degrees, those of Analytical Chemistry and Applied Material Chemistry have obtained the certificate of EXCELLENT accreditation of AQU Catalunya. The Masters of Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Organic Chemistry have obtained a FAVORABLE accreditation.

The present dean and his team wish to wholeheartedly acknowledge the work carried out by the previous team, heads of studies of the Degrees and academic coordinators of the Masters, the Internal Evaluation Committee, the Quality Committee of the Faculty, the APQUB, as well as other members of the Faculty who participated in the preparation of the reports and in the hearings with the External Evaluation Committee.

These results will available on the AQU website in the coming weeks.

The only official degree coordinated by the Faculty that remains pending to accredit is the Master in Atomistic and Multiscale Computational Modelling in Physics, Chemistry and Biochemistry, implemented in the 2015-16 academic year.
