The Governing Council of February 12, 2012 approved the amendment of the rules and criteria for the recognition of university master studies adapted strictly to the amendment of Royal Decree 1393/2007 (Royal Decree 861/2010).
This legislation takes into account all the considerations referred to in Royal Decree 861/2010, and specifies which are under consideration:
Credits obtained in official courses completed before, in the University of Barcelona or any other college except for the Master Thesis. They are also under consideration the credits taken at other higher education courses leading to qualifications under article 34.1 of Law 6/2001 of universities and professional work experience whenever it is related to the competencies of the degree that the student are taking the studentqualification is in his student.
In the case of the Master in Advanced Immunology, as a general requirement can only recognize up to 9 ECTS from this experience to graduates in any branch of Life Science and Health, if in their curricula contains a subject in immunology with at least 3 ECTS or equivalent, over a period of time less than 10 years regarding the actual course of the Master.
The Master in Advanced Immunology can recognize up to 9 ECTS as work or professional experience in the following areas according to the following criteria:

Health Care Professionals: field of application
ADVANCED IMMUNOPATHOLOGY AREA
Veterinary Care Professionals: field of application
VETERINARY IMMUNOLOGY AND IMMUNOPATHOLOGY AREA
Clinical laboratory professionals-healthcare: field of application
ADVANCED TECHNIQUES IN IMMUNOLOGY AREA
The scale for the recognition of 9 ECTS apply to professionals with a minimum of 2 years experience in their field.
