Summer courses

In the Faculty of Law, summer courses organized by North American universities are taught - all of them recognized by the American Bar Association - in which faculty from our center also participate. The courses offered during the months of June and July are the following:

• University of Puerto Rico: The summer program offered during the month of July by the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) together with the UB is international and comparative in nature. US Supreme Court judges, UB professors and other Spanish jurists, as well as UPR professors, participate in the program. The course also offers the possibility of short-term professional internships in some of the main law firms in Barcelona.

• Nova Southeastern University: The University of Barcelona (UB) together with Nova Southeastern University (NSU) offer a new program of summer during the month of July. The program incorporates the study and practice of law in both countries, presenting a comparative perspective on human rights and private law. Students and professors from the two universities will participate in this program, a unique opportunity to make international connections. This course will take place from 03/06/2023 to 21/06/2023.
