Continuous assessment

- Activity 3. Case study: analysis and characterization of a tourist destination and its tourism system (25% of the overall grade)
- Activity 4. Analysis and characterization of a tourism project or plan (20% of the overall grade)
- Activity 5. Field trip and report (15% of the overall grade)
Assessment is based on i) a written exam (50% of the overall grade) covering the entire content of the syllabus (to be sat on a date as determined by the Master’s Committee) and ii) a course project (50%) to be handed in on the day of the exam).
Repeat assessment
UB regulations governing course plans and the assessment and grading of learning provide that students who fail to satisfy the examiners (including those that fail to submit the requisite coursework or sit the exam) by the date for the completion of either the continuous or single modes of assessment may opt for repeat assessment. Repeat assessment is scheduled for March (in the case of courses taught in the first semester) or July (in the case of those taught in the second semester or of annual duration).
Repeat assessment adheres to the same requisites as those provided for under the single mode of assessment.
