Official assessment of learning outcomes
Continuous assessment is based on the following three activities:
— Exercise of written receptive skills: understanding written texts at a basic level, identifying forms and identifying the pronunciation of graphemes (first month).
— Exercise of oral receptive skills: understanding oral texts and auditions (second month).
— Exercise of written productive skills: nominal and verbal morphology (third month).
The final grade is calculated from the average obtained in these three activities.
The lecturer may focus on each exercise in a single session or divide it into different sub-exercises. Some complementary bonus activity may be suggested during the course, which allows students to improve the final grade.
To be eligible to pass the subject, it is essential to sit all the exercises or sub-exercises.
Repeat assessment
In the re-evaluation test, which will take place on the date assigned by the Faculty, students who have opted for continuous assessment will have the opportunity to retake, at the teacher’s discretion, the exams, tests, or other assessment activities that they have not passed in the previous sitting.
Students opting out of continuous assessment can request the single assessment option, provided this request complies with the terms and conditions established by the Faculty.
Single assessment consists of an oral and written examination (100% of the final grade).
