Family Holidays 2024
Who is it aimed at?
“Family holidays” aims to promote shared family leisure as an educational practice and to encourage the coexistence of the members of the family unit and the rest of the participating families. All Catalan families with children under the age of 0 to 17 can participate in the programme, and will be able to enjoy the social benefits of the programme.
The initiative has the support of the Secretary of Social Affairs and Families of the Department of Social Rights, and is developed mainly at the Youth Hostel Network of Catalonia (Xanascat), at different times of the year.
First call
Pre-registration: from 27th November from 12:00 noon to 11th December at 12:00 noon
Draw: 13 December at 12:00 noon
Publication of the draw: 15 December at 12:00 h.

Easter Week Colony
Who is it aimed at?
The Easter Week Camps Programme of the National Network of Social Hostels of Catalonia (XANASCAT) is a proposal of the Catalan Youth Agency that is aimed at boys and girls from 8 to 16 years old to stay at XANASCAT’s hostels during the Easter school holidays.
General objectives of the stays:
- To provide the Easter holiday period with an educational, cultural, sporting and convivial content.
- To transmit values of coexistence and companionship.

Summer is yours 2023
The Catalan Youth Agency (ACJ) opens registrations for the 28th edition of ” Summer is yours! », a process that can be done through the direct reservation system through the offer of the virtual portal .
With the slogan “Summer always. The summer camps as they have always been”, the summer camps of the Generalitat are an educational programme aimed at children and adolescents from 5 to 16 years old. Through a wide range of activities, stays of up to 10 days are offered in 14 hostels of the Youth Hostel Network of Catalonia (Xanascat): Banyoles, Cabrera de Mar, Canyamars, Coma-ruga, Deltebre, La Molina, l’Escala, L’Espluga de Francolí, Móra la Nova, Núria, Planoles, Tremp, la Vall d’en Bas and Vic.
On the other hand, “L’estiu és teu!” also benefits large, single-parent and foster families, who will continue to enjoy a 10% reduction in the price of their stays.
