Before starting the CAE procedure, remember that according to Article 18 of Law 31/1995 on the Prevention of Occupational Hazards (LPRL), Information, consultation and participation, you must have the appropriate information in relation to:
- The risks to your health and safety in all the areas where you work and the activities you carry out at the UB, including field trips,
- the preventive measures and activities applicable to these risks,
- and the measures adopted in terms of action to be taken in the event of an emergency.
Remember that you must also have completed training for the activities you carry out outside the UB (work in other institutions, field trips, etc.) before starting them.

In addition, you must have adequate, sufficient and up-to-date training in preventive matters, focused on the risks of the workplace and the activities you carry out, in accordance with article 19, Training of workers, of Law 31/1995 on the Prevention of Occupational Risks (LPRL).
The training needs of each worker will depend on the type of activities they do. Training must include each and every one of these activities, regardless of the frequency with which they are carried out.
Remember that you must also have received training for the activities you do outside the UB (work in other institutions, field trips, etc.) before starting them.

IMPORTANT: Before starting activities in other institutions or centres outside the UB, you must be provided with preventive information on the risks of the area you will be entering, the preventive measures to be applied, the personal protection equipment you will need, the rules of action in the event of an emergency, and the specific training required to carry out these activities.
