From the Environmental Unit of the OSSMA we are working to ensure that university activity is increasingly more respectful of the environment and that the university community has solutions to reduce the environmental impact associated with teaching, research and administrative activity.
New features of the UB energy saving challenge: first auction of prizes, recognition of an academic credit, and number of participants.
We have been reducing energy consumption for more than 10 years, and it is up to all of us to continue doing so. The “We are responsible” campaign invites us to actively participate in this challenge.
During the first quarter of 2023, electricity consumption decreased by 4.5% and gas by 23.3%, compared to the same period in 2022. On the other hand, water consumption has increased by 8.2%.
Durant els propers dies podreu veure als edificis de la UB el segon pòster de la campanya ‘Desconnecta’ls, desconnecta’, que promou l’estalvi d’energia tant als nostres edificis com a la vida personal.
Els tres primers mesos de l’any 2015 els consums d’electricitat i aigua han seguit disminuint respecte l’any anterior, un 2,4% i un 5,4% respectivament.
El consum elèctric va disminuir el 2013 un 4,7% respecte l’any anterior, sumant el tercer any consecutiu de reducció des de que l’any 2010 es va assolir el màxim. El descens aquest 2013 ha estat de 2.243 MWh, i la reducció acumulada ja és de l’11%, i ens situa lleugerament per sobre del consum de l’any 2005.
Els vehicles també disposen d’una etiqueta d’eficiència energètica que especifica el consum de combustible i les emissions de CO₂.
