Juan de la Cierva Postdoctoral position at CNIC
Dr. Mercedes Ricote (CNIC, Madrid, Spain) is looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated candidates interested in applying to JdC program to join a project that will phocus on single cell transcriptomics and epigenomic regulation of macrophages in heart homeostasis and injury. The work involves the generation of high-throughput omic data sets and its analysis by bioinformatics.

Requirements:
- Candidates must posess a PhD in Biomedical Sciences.
- Outstanding publication record in peer review journals (at least two articles as first author).
- Experience in flow cytometry technology, genome-wide assays and bioinformatics skills (e.g. Python/Perl, R, scripting).
- Additional experience working with mouse models is highly valuable.
- Experience abroad will be acknowledged.
- Creativity, independence and a willingness to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team are essential.
