This article aims to examine the mobile images that appear in Ramon Llull's works (1232-1316): in manuscripts of the XIV Century, in later manuscripts and also in the edition of the complete works by the Lullist Bernard de Lavinheta, published by Johann Heinrich Alsted in 1612. I claim that the study of dynamical diagrams, being icons and mechanical tools at the same time, highlights the concordance they have with the combinatorial Art and Lullian invention. These figures are essentially revolving wheels or volvelles related to the Art, and to other works as well. They are epistemological tools representing ontological structures and recreating philosophical questions. Lullian mobile wheels are relevant because of his novelty in theological and philosophical medieval manuscripts,their connection with the Kabbalistic tradition and also because they are considered a precedent of modern informatics.
