All@Once, healthy habits for children
All@Once, healthy habits for children
All @ Once is a project funded by EIT Health led by the IL3-UB Institute for Lifelong Learning to train early childhood education teachers on how to instil healthy habits in children and improve their quality of life in the future.
All @ Once develops training materials in an innovative way through a co-creation methodology that takes into account the real needs of families and education and healthcare professionals. The aim of the project is thus to create an impact on children’s habits in order to prevent hospitalization and chronic diseases in the community in the long term.
Four academic institutions participate in All @ Once: the University of Barcelona, the University of Maastricht, the University of Copenhagen, and the University of Grenoble Alps. The City of Barcelona Education Consortium, the Public Health Agency, and the San Joan de Déu Hospital are also partners. All these institutions have joined this European project that offers a global approach, including emotional health, social health, diversity (cultural, religious, gender …) and physical and mental health. Healthy habits in childhood also range from food and hygiene to the fight against a sedentary lifestyle and the promotion of sport.
In this way All@Once directly involves and gives voice to teachers, parents, and care staff in the design of the project through the dynamics of co-creation, making it an innovative and pioneering project in this field.
