Marta Gràcia, coordinator of the CLOD group and Principal Investigator of the project “Support systems for teacher decision-making (SSD) and the development of linguistic competence” (EDU201563616-P), and other team researchers, presented a poster at the 10th International Conference on Computer Supported Education organized by CSEDU, held in Funchal (Madeira, Portugal) on March 15-17, 2018.
It brought together experts to discuss new learning environments, best practices and case studies on innovative strategies based on technology, institutional policies on education with technology support including open and distance education, using computers.
Jordi Casanovas, computer engineer contracted to the project “Support systems for teacher decision-making (SSD) and the development of linguistic competence”(EDU201563616-P), whose Marta Gracia is the PR, presented the poster entitled “Empowering Teachers’ Self Assessment of Their Own Practice where Student’s Oral Skills EVALOE Decision Support System”.
The poster presented preliminary results related to the project that is being developed, focused on the design, construction and validation of a digital system for formative evaluation and decision making for teachers, the EVALOE-SSD, in relation to the development of communicative competence in oral education for children in kindergarten and primary education, in which schools from Catalonia, Spain, Brazil and Ecuador are participating. The main objective of the project is to help the teachers to reflect on their educational practice and improve it.
