III Conference of the UB Institutes of Research: “Artificial intelligence: research and society”. 13 February 2024
On February 13, 2024, the III Conference of the UB Propisal Research Institutes will be held. These conferences revolve around Artificial Intelligence, which has become a fundamental pillar of scientific and technological research. This conference is presented as a platform to highlight the impact and potential of AI in various domains, from medicine to computer science, through robotics and computational linguistics.
The day takes place in morning and afternoon session. In the morning, the presentations of the various Research Institutes will take place in the Aula Magna of the UB (face-to-face and live broadcast). Dr. Cristina Galv’n from IRE will give an exhibition on “Education and Artificial Intelligence: a dialogue inspired by Durkheim”. In the afternoon, it continues in the Auditorium of the Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB), with a conference on scientific applications of generative AI in Google and guided tour of the exhibition “AI: artificial intelligence” (face-to-face, prior registration is required).
