Today, 11 February, marks the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, proclaimed by the United Nations in 2016 to “ensure access to and full and equal participation in science for women and girls, and to achieve gender equality and empowerment of women and girls,” as announced by the UN.
In response to this important milestone, the Department of Linguistic and Literary Education and Didactics of Experimental Sciences and Mathematics is organizing a round table entitled “Talking about Women and Science: a binomial with a future“, with the participation of renowned and committed academics and scientists from the University of Barcelona:
