DEADLINE EXTENDED: REVISTA CATALANA DE PEDAGOGIA CFP – FEMINIST PEDAGOGIES IN THE CATALAN COUNTRIES (PAÏSOS CATALANS)
FEMINIST PEDAGOGIES IN THE CATALAN COUNTRIES (PAÏSOS CATALANS)
New deadline: September 21st
This next issue of the Journal addresses the need to put gender at the centre of the debate and critical pedagogical thinking as an element of educational transformation. In the field of education, the contributions of feminisms can halt the reproduction of social and educational inequalities and become a driving force for change in terms of equality, equity, and social justice. On this occasion, the RCP encourages you to share research, experiences, and innovations from feminist, critical, post-colonial, anti-globalisation, etc. pedagogies at any educational level throughout life that contribute to deconstructing hierarchical, patriarchal, and heteronormative structures.
From this approach, we welcome papers on gender studies and the inclusion of a gender approach in pedagogy in all its dimensions: from the contributions of relevant figures in co-education and feminist pedagogies, contributions linked to the trajectories of feminisms in pedagogy within and outside the Catalan Countries (Països Catalans), contributions on equality and sexual, affective and gender diversity, through experiences of feminist schools, transformative educational practices, or educational innovations that are working on basic aspects of a gender perspective, co-education, and sexuality.
