DHiGeCs research group incorporates an industrial doctorate

DHiGeCs research group (Didactics of History, Geography and other Social Sciences), in collaboration with the CETT-UB (Campus de Turisme, Hosteleria i Gastronomia) incorporates an industrial doctorate.

The doctorate Marta Conill Tetuà, led by two members of the DHiGeCs (Dr. Joan Santacana and Dr. Laia Coma), will develop the thesis “Responsible Tourism and Educating Cities: the heritage as an identity value of a city. Analysis, state of affairs and assessment for a modeling proposal”.

The industrial doctorate is a strategy of the Government of the Generalitat of Catalonia, in collaboration with universities, whose objective is to contribute to the competitiveness and internationalization of the Catalan industrial fabric, to retain talent and to place doctoral students and doctorates in a position to develop projects R&D &I in a company.
