The Teacher Education Advancement Network (TEAN) international conference brings together up to 200 teacher educators to share their research and innovative practice in teacher education and development.
For conference this year, we are delighted to welcome two leading keynote speakers, Gert Biesta on taking teaching seriously, and Lee Rusznyak on classroom observation debrief.
With a wide range of workshops and presentations including anti-racist frameworks for teacher education, decolonising the teacher education curriculum, and analysing classroom teaching using Legitimation Code Theory (LCT), the TEAN conference has a broad and international reach.
Conference papers and proposals are welcome from teacher educators and researchers into teacher education and development across all of the TEAN themes below. However, for this event we are particularly keen to develop strands related to social justice and to analysis of classroom teaching, including application of LCT.
