ISCAR Ibérica 2023: People, networks and societies in transition. Rethinking discourses,
practices and methodologies

The “V ISCAR Ibérica Congress 2023: People, networks and societies in transition. Rethinking discourses, practices and methodologies”, jointly organized by the University of Extremadura (UEx) and the University of Barcelona (UB), will be held on June 7, 8 and 9 in Cáceres, Extremadura (Spain).

The objective of the Congress is to bring together researchers from different disciplines (psychology, sociology, anthropology, education sciences, communication, etc.), who address various objects of study, but who share a sociocultural approach to the study of human practices and social change. In this edition, the focus is on the transition processes experienced by people, networks and societies, from a critical perspective, which allows us to rethink discourses, practices and methodologies, and which helps us guide future lines of research.

  • Date: June 7, 8 and 9, 2023. Moreover, there is a special session for pre-doctoral researchers on the afternoon of June 6.
  • Place: San Francisco Cultural Complex, Cáceres, Extremadura (Spain).

Submission of contributions is open until February 28. Participants can present oral communications or posters, as well as propose the organization of a symposium. Additionally, in the pre-doctoral mode, thesis videos will be presented in three minutes. Empirical and theoretical-methodological contributions are accepted, as well as contributions on psychosocial educational interventions.
