Short biography

I´m currently working as an Associate Professor at the Open University of Catalonia. I have thirteen years of research experience in several higher education institutions in Spain and the UK (University of Barcelona, 2007-2010; Barcelona Biomedical Research Park, 2011-2013; School of Medicine, University of St Andrews, 2013-2015; University of Suffolk/Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, 2015-2020; Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, 2020-present). Thorough these years I have worked in a broad range of research topics such as (using qualitative and quantitative research): 1) Intellectual Disabilities and Mental health problems in children, young people and adults; 2) Development and Validation of questionnaires; 3) Development & Implementation of substance use programmes (Novel Psychoactive Substances) for Young People  and 4) Involvement in clinical trials.
