Adrian Montesano
Short bio
Associate professor at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) in the department of Personality, Assessment, and Psychological Treatments. I did my international PhD in Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Barcelona between 2012 and 2015, with different research stays at the University of Hertfordshire, University of Bern, and Pontifical University of Santiago de Chile. After that, I was awarded with a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Psychology Research Centre of the University of Minho, Portugal. I am chair of the Spanish Narrative Therapy Association, chair of the Spanish Association of Cognitive Psychotherapies, and country coordinator of the International Society for Psychotherapy Research. Currently, my research interests are centered on three main topics: a) construction of self and identity, b) psychotherapy and ICTs, and c) sexual and couple therapy.
