PhD candidate for sustainable materials for water decontamination

The Thin-film and Nanostructure electrodeposition Group (GE-CPN) offers a PhD position for the following project:
“Toward circular economy: Electrochemical synthesis of biomimetic photocatalysts for water decontamination using sunlight”
The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Nanoscience, Physical Chemistry, Electrochemistry or Materials Science. We expect a strong background in materials characterization. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work in highly-interdisciplinary research teams, as well as excellent English skills (oral and written), are prerequisites. Knowledge of Catalan and Spanish would be an advantage.
