El grupo se dedica a la aplicación de la nanotecnología y los biomateriales para el desarrollo de nuevos sistemas, protocolos y dispositivos biomédicos con el objetivo de crear nuevas plataformas de diagnóstico, modelos y microambientes biológicos y terapias regenerativas. Las principales actividades de investigación del grupo incluyen la ingeniería bioquímica, las técnicas de litografía en soft y la microfabricación, la funcionalización de biomateriales integrados con sistemas microfluídicos y la plataforma tridimensional de biomateriales biodegradables y bioactivos.
