El grupo de investigación está interesado en sistemas de materias blandas (soft matter) como coloides, polímeros o cristales líquidos, con especial énfasis en las condiciones de equilibrio, cuando un campo o fuerzas externos actúan sobre los sistemas. En particular, actualmente el grupo trabaja en:

Propulsión en fluidos viscosos.
Comprensión de partículas sensibles a un campo anisotrópico.
Coloides en potenciales periódicos.
