In this work, developed at the Catalysis and Advanced Inorganic Materials, it is described how the exceptional catalytic behaviour of the sample prepared from VO(isopropoxide)3 in Ar atmosphere, is related with the presence of C-vacancies in VCx and the large VCx-Al2O3 interphase.
