The Spanish Magnetism Club (CEMAG), in its IXth edition, has awarded the “Salvador Velayos” Prize to two members of of the Condensed Matter Physics Department and of the IN²UB, Amílcar Labarta and Xavier Batlle, Group of Magnetic Nanomaterials, together with Prof. Benjamín Martínez (ICMAB-CSIC), for “their contribution to study of the magnetism of small particles and complex systems, and for their great contribution to the creation of new generations of scientists who have followed their research tradition”. The award ceremony will take place during the next CEMAG Annual Meeting, which will take place in Almagro at the end of 2025. The Salvador Velayos Award aims to value the outstanding work in Magnetism of scientists or technologists who carry out their work in Spain.
