The group studies magnetism and spin-dependence electron transport (spintronics) in mesoscopic systems and dynamical systems in a general sense. During the last 4 years the group has focused in the study of the interaction between surface acoustic waves and magnetic excitations at the nanoscale. The group also studies the creation of spin currents from magnetic excitations in different materials (spin-pumping and spin Seebeck effects).
