IMCITIZEN
IMCITIZEN fosters children's democratic citizenship identity as active and engaged members of their municipalities. It also identifies strategies to favour increased rates of citizenship initiation, decision-making and engagement in child participation mechanisms.
IMCITIZEN seeks systemic changes so that child participation mechanisms significantly impact public policies and the education of children's civic and democratic identity.
IMCITIZEN project funded by the EU CERV-2022-CHILD programme. It fosters the democratic citizenship identity of girls and boys as active and engaged members of their municipalities.
WE ALIGN WITH THE EU CHILDREN'S PARTICIPATION PLATFORM
The EU Children's Participation Platform is a safe space where children and adolescents can express their opinions and participate in decision-making processes.
The Platform operates at national and EU levels, linking local, national and EU child participation mechanisms.
The IMCITIZEN project values and endorses this initiative by promoting the creation of Children's Participation Platforms in schools.
