Using a variety of online confessions and practices, artists address the over-exposure of intimate daily life. Some of the artistic exploration of these intimate scenes is celebrations of the ease with which people can offer their private lives to others; other artists in this exhibition report individual and corporate acts of privacy breach. The various projects align in a way that questions and strengthens a dialogue between two opposite but interdependent poles: (1) the individual's exercise of control over privacy and privacy; (2) the inherent lack of control in online exchange practice.
