Art and Research Seminars: April 18th and 19th, from 4pm to 8pm. Day 18 Auditorium, day 19 Degree Room of the Faculty of Fine Arts University of Barcelona. Training activity for the students of the Doctorate of Advanced Studies in Artistic Productions (EAPA) and for the Master of Artistic Productions and Research (PRODART). This seminar is part of the Mérimée Program activities between the universities of Barcelona and Rennes 2, and addresses the relationships between contemporary art and digital humanities. After examining, in a first stage, the temporal dimensions of artistic inquiry, the purpose of the seminar is to direct our attention to the territories of art, using the digital traces and the logic of diffusion of the artist's impressions. Space, place, zone, site, heterotopias, web, will be some of the notions discussed from contemporary practices marked by the flows of information, the material and immaterial exchanges and the new academic and artistic dynamics.
