Multiverso is an exhibition that gathered, at the Madrid headquarters of the BBVA Foundation, the works carried out with the Creation Aids at Videoart that the Foundation awarded in 2014 to ten audiovisual projects. With this initiative, the BBVA Foundation, which has been supporting a program of contemporary music for 15 years, now proposes to promote innovation and experimentation in the field of moving image, which has become the dominant language of the 21st century. The selection, made by a jury of visual arts experts, is based on the quality of the project and the trajectory of the artist. The grants are designed to facilitate the production of works of some complexity and scale, but also provide support for their dissemination once completed. Laura Baigorri was a member of the evaluation and curator of the Multiverso exhibition. From October 7 to November 20, 2016.
