a short introduction
My main research field is Cognitive, Affective and Behavioral Neuroscience. Current interests are individual differences in personality, socio-emotional abilities, the executive control of facial expressions, emotion processing, and the integration of emotion and cognition in decision making. I believe in a multimodal approach to study individual differences, integrating behavioral data of RTs and accuracy, behavioral observation, and psychophysical measures of EEG, EMG, or SCR, with multivariate analysis (structural equation modelling). I am particularly interested in video-based analysis of facial expression with computer software, and the application of machine learning to research on individual differences.
