Una breu introducció

Els meus interessos d'investigació rauen en general a entendre per què ens comportem d'una manera determinada o d'una altra. El més interessant per a mi prové de predir un comportament específic en situacions específiques utilitzant dades biològiques, psicològiques i socials. En altres paraules, intentant entendre el comportament humà. A més, tinc una àmplia experiència en el desenvolupament de solucions personalitzades i la personalització d'objectius de comportament utilitzant les diferències individuals. Les meves últimes activitats aplicades estan relacionades amb això.

Com a IP de l'IDLab, actualment tinc cinc línies principals de recerca: Mètodes quantitatius en psicometria i avaluació: aquesta línia de recerca se centra en els models d'equacions estructurals (García-Forero, Maydeu-Olivares i Gallardo-Pujol, 2009) i teoria de la resposta a l'ítem (IRT) i, de manera més general, en el desenvolupament de nous mètodes quantitatius. 2) Interaccions persona-situació: aquesta línia de recerca s'interessa principalment per la interacció entre persones i situacions, o més generalment “persones en situacions”. Hem contribuït al desenvolupament d'un nou i innovador model d'avaluació de situacions (Rauthmann, Gallardo-Pujol et al., 2014). 3) Neurociència de la personalitat: recentment hem investigat les bases neuroanatòmiques del cervell dels trets de personalitat del model dels Cinc Grans, però també del factor de personalitat general (Burgaleta i Gallardo-Pujol, 2021). 4) Personality computing: el nostre grup, juntament amb el grup HuPBA, és pioner a l'hora d'utilitzar mètodes d'aprenentatge profund per extreure els nivells de personalitat d'una persona a partir de l'anàlisi automàtica de dades multimodals (àudio, vídeo, llenguatge natural, metadades). , etc), amb un grau de precisió força elevat. Ja està publicada la primera publicació on es presenta la base de dades oberta en què hem desenvolupat els models (Palmero et al., 2020), així com la primera descripció tècnica dels mètodes que hem utilitzat, conegut com Dyadformer (Curto et al., 2020). ., 2021). Les primeres publicacions substantives sobre personalitat estan a punt de publicar-se (Gallardo-Pujol et al., en preparació). 5) Aplicacions clíniques en avaluació psicològica: Finalment, el grup té una activitat molt important pel que fa a les aplicacions, especialment en psicologia clínica i psiquiatria, de l'avaluació psicològica i que és especialment rellevant per a aquest projecte. També han rebut la nostra atenció aspectes com el creixement posttraumàtic (Pajón, Greco, Pereda i Gallardo-Pujol, 2020), així com la relació entre temperament, funció executiva i TDAH (Krieger, Amador-Campos i Gallardo-). Pujol, 2019). En el grup també hem desenvolupat algunes aplicacions forenses, especialment en relació a la impulsivitat, el burnout o la predicció de l'actuació policial (Forero, Gallardo-Pujol, Maydeu-Olivares, & Andrés-Pueyo, 2009; Gallardo-Pujol et al. , 2015; García-Forero, Gallardo-Pujol, Maydeu-Olivares, & Andrés-Pueyo, 2009).

Amb tot, actualment tinc més de 15 anys d'experiència treballant en diferents aspectes bàsics i aplicats de l'avaluació i predicció de la conducta. Sóc el secretari general de l'Associació Europea d'Avaluació Psicològica des del 2017 i membre del consell editorial de l'European Journal of Psychological Assessment, l'European Journal of Personality i la Personality and Social Psychology Compass, que m'han permès col·laboracions intensives. amb el doctor Matthias Ziegler o el doctor John Rauthmann.
