The research of our Area basically gathers around three research groups, consolidated and active for more than twenty years. They are the CEIPAC (dedicated to the amphoric epigraphy and to the production and trade of food in the Roman Empire), the GRAT ((focused on the religious conflicts and the Hispanic ecclesiastical prosopography during the Late Antiquity), and GEA (devoted to gender studies in antiquity). The members of these groups keep related to international universities and institutions and also participate in many specialized congresses celebrated in the academic world, which allows them to diffuse widely their particular research.
