Associate Professor of Moral Philosophy, Philosophy of the Social Sciences and Social Theory at the University of Barcelona. He has authored books on ethics and epistemology of the social sciences and published several book chapters and articles on political philosophy, conceptual history, fiduciary relationships, political freedom, property rights, commons, social theory, social cognition, and social epidemiology (loneliness, inequality and mental health). Principal Investigator of the Research Group on Ethics and Epistemology of the Social Sciences (GREECS) at the University of Barcelona. Bioethics Research Award (2019) by the Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation. Teaching Quality Distinction (2023) ‘to recognize the excellence of an outstanding teaching career’, awarded by the Social Council of the University of Barcelona.
