She teaches research methodologies, methods and techniques for citizenship education at the Faculty of Education. She belongs to the Department of Research Methods and Evaluation in Education.
Her research has focused primarily on citizenship education, intercultural education, and research methodologies. Of all of them, the object of research that has always been present, either as a concept, as a didactic methodology or as a research methodology has been that of “participation”.
In the methodological field, she was initiated in methodologies oriented to social change; Participatory Research and Participatory Evaluation, methodologies that she embraced to deepen, later, in methodologies and qualitative methods and quantitative methods. The knowledge of each one of the methodologies and methods that have used allows her to have a holistic vision to approach the object of study of those of multimethod approaches.
Her interest in epistemologies, change-oriented methodologies and the participatory construction of knowledge has led her to delve, lately, into the study of the application of RRI.
