Doctoral, industrial and postdoctoral doctoral programs
It is common in our research group to welcome people who are carrying out their doctoral thesis and are interested in developing it in one of our lines of research, or doctoral professionals who wish to carry out their post-doctoral work with us.
Doctoral programs in which we participate as researchers:
Barcelona University:
- Education and society
This program aims at the advanced training of researchers in the field of education and socio-educational intervention through the elaboration of an original work of advanced research. The program responds to the set of social needs and academic requirements. directly related to the purposes of quality, innovation and improvement that the educational and school systems, as well as, the interventions and socio-educational actions pose in a globalized and knowledge society.More information on the doctoral program “Education and society”
Rovira i Virgili University:
- Gender Studies: Cultures, Societies and Policies
The main objective is innovation in scientific research of excellence on feminism, women and gender through cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches in different topics as an object of study and research.

- Humanistic studies
The aim of the PhD in Humanities is to train high-level researchers in the field of human sciences, both in basic and applied research.

The doctoral theses we tutor must be part of one of our lines of research: participation, gender, interculturality or methodology.

Industrial doctorates
The GREDI URV-UB also offers the possibility of welcoming students who want to do a doctorate funded by a company or institution. This program is called an industrial doctoral project.
To take part in the program:

- Have a CV and motivation to be candidates to present an R & D & I research project that may be of interest to a company or institution in GREDI.
- GREDI researchers and the candidate will look for a company or institution where the candidate’s project and CV can be useful.
- With the GREDI researchers, prepare the documentation requested by the University and Research Grants Agency (AGAUR) and submit it within the deadlines established annually.
- If the research project is accepted by the University and Research Grants Agency (AGAUR):
- Carry out the project in a company or institution where the doctoral student is under the coordination of one of the GREDI researchers.
- Register the project as a doctoral thesis project in any of the programs in which GREDI researchers participate.
- Accept the commitment to stay 3 years in the company or institution, where you will develop research training, in collaboration with a university or research center, and which is the subject of a doctoral thesis.
- The company will guarantee you a minimum annual gross salary of about 22,000 euros per year on average.
- As students you have a subsidized annual doctoral tuition (3 courses).
- You can apply for mobility grants.
