Anna Rafecas Sogas is a philosophy graduate from the University of Barcelona (2020). She obtained a research master’s degree in metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophical anthropology from the Radboud University in the Netherlands (2023). She is currently a PhD candidate (Predocs UB) at the Philosophy Faculty from the University of Barcelona. Under the direction of Dr. Josep Maria Esquirol and Dr. Mar Rosàs Tosàs, her research is on social epistemology and focuses on standpoint theories, the notion of epistemic advantage, and György Lukács’ arguments on false consciousness and the epistemic privilege of the proletariat.
