This week starts the

18th Biennial Conference EASA 2024: Doing and Undoing with Anthropology

at University of Barcelona, 23-26 July 2024

We have compiled a list of the panels and round tables in which GER members will participate.

The European Association of Social Anthropologists (EASA) seeks to advance anthropology in Europe by organising biennial conferences, editing its academic journal Social Anthropology/Anthropologie Sociale, its Newsletter and the two publication series.

The 2024 conference is hosted by the Department of Anthropology of the University of Barcelona (UB). The call for panels has been opened to local languages, Spanish and Catalan, in addition to the official languages of EASA, English and French. The two main venues of the conference will be the Facultat de Geografia i Història of the UB and the Museu Marítim de Barcelona, both located in the same neighbourhood, El Raval, in the centre of Barcelona, 20 minutes walking distance from each other.

We leave in this publication all the necessary information about the participation of the members of the GER in this congress, to facilitate the organisation of your sessions. We remind you that this year the event has one day of online panels, which will take place on Thursday 18 July 2024.
