We have come back from holidays and we need to prepare the next school year, to take the shelved projects and consider them again.  

A good way to do it is to take a glance at the web Map History / History of Cartography: THE Gateway to the Subject, created and  maintained by Tony Campbell.

The web works since 20 years ago and has accumulated an amount of information about different aspects related to  history of cartography. In the image below there is an abstract of the matters with that Campbell has organized the web.
