Online talks about the V centenary of the first round of the world

Casa de América, Casa Asia and Centro Sefarad-Israel come together to present the first cycle of online talks V Centenario de la primera vuelta al mundo. The history of the Spanish explorations that crossed the Pacific Ocean, when the fifth centenary of the circumnavigation of Magellan and Elcano is celebrated, will be analyzed through three presentations. From the cosmography to the mythology of those trips, passing through the failed routes, three scholars and specialists will delve into the contributions that the different Spanish explorations made to the knowledge of the planet’s largest ocean.
